Samanaleya wishes to be a sanctuary for those who long for Union in Spirit. A place for those to whom inner Silence is not alien. It is for people who care about kindness, depth and honesty in human relationships; People who are aware of the suffering on planet Earth and who, for this very reason, choose to orient themselves towards joy, holistic well-being, inner fulfillment and purpose. People who long to discover the deeper meaning of life with a good dose of fun and playfulness along the way. People like you? 

The word "Samanaleya" means butterfly and comes from Singhalese, a language spoken in Sri Lanka. 

It is in the jungles of this magical island that my awakening began - long before I even had an interest in spirituality. There was a fascination for the inexplicable, the mysterious, the sublte, the invisible. 

It has never left me.

If I had to choose one word to expresses my motivation for Samanaleya, it would be

Being spiritual is nothing special. We are it by nature! Whether we believe it or not, whether we know it or not, whether it is of interest to us or not, whether we want it or not... our very nature is spiritual - and there's absolutely nothing we can do about it!
