Our house is located on a magical piece of land in southwestern France. It is surrounded by 4 hectares of nature. Trees, fields and plenty of wildlife are our neighbours.

An easy walk takes you down to the beautiful and quiet lake of our village "le Vaux". You will enjoy the gentle landscapes of the Lauragais region, and when the weather is favorable, a magnificent view of the Pyrénées mountains in the far distance. 

Magical sunrises, sunsets, moonrises and wide open starry skies at night invite us to pause, enjoy their beauty and contemplate the meaning of our existence.

In the surrounding area you will find picturesque towns with the typical open-air markets of this region, smaller and larger lakes, the famous Canal du Midi, walks along the "Rigole" on the "Camino de Compostela", places of power like mount Bugarach and much more! The Mediterranean beaches can be reached in approximately 1.5 hours by car. To reach the Atlantic Ocean, it takes about 3.5 hours.
